This specimen was lot 41322 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 12 Mariengroschen, 1787-C. Zellerfeld Mint. Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand. PCGS MS-61. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1787-89 and is common. It was worth one third of a thaler.
