Künker sale 386, lot 5089

This specimen was lot 5089 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €220 (about US$284 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand, 1780-1806. Konv.-Taler (Speciestaler) 1788, Braunschweig. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Charles William Ferdinand, 1780-1806, convention thaler of 1788, Brunswick mint. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
