This specimen was lot 42045 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOHEMIA. Taler, 1624. Joachimsthal Mint. Ferdinand II. PCGS AU-58. An incredible example, this specimen stands near the top of the PCGS census report, being surpassed by only one example, offering great luster and peripheral toning, as well as just a hint of light handling and hairlines." This type was struck at Joachimsthal 1623-37 and is fairly common. Other Bohemian thalers for 1624 include KM 354/Dav-3136, KM 376 and KM 377/Dav-3136A.
