Sincona sale 63, lot 1519

This specimen was lot 1519 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$470 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Ferdinand II. 1618-1637. 1/2 Taler 1624, Prag. Münzmeister Hans Suttner (1623-1625). Sehr schön. Kratzer im Feld. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, half thaler of 1624, Prague mint. Very fine, Scratches in the field, Flan flaw on edge.)"

This type was struck at Prague 1623-37 and at Kuttenberg (KM 349) and Joachimsthal (KM 350).
