Künker sale 406, lot 4488

This specimen was lot 4488 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,900 (about US$2,493 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Ferdinand II. 1592-1618-1637. Reichstaler 1624, Wien. RR Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich. (Austria, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, thaler of 1624, Vienna mint. Very rare, handsome patina, extremely fine.)"

This variety was struck 1624-25 and is fairly common.
