Sincona sale 47, lot 2059

This specimen was lot 2059 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$120 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Heiliges Romisch Reich, Erzherzog Leopold V. 1619-1632. 10 Kreuzer 1624, Hall. Sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Austria, archduke Leopold V, 1619-32, ten kreuzer of 1624, Hall mint. Very fine.)"

This type is listed for 1623-24 in the SCWC and is the first ten kreuzer from this ruler, who never ascended the imperial throne. A related type (KM 438.2) was struck in 1625.
