The first specimen was lot 3591 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "AFGHANISTAN: Amanullah, 1919-1929, AR rupee, SH1298, a lovely lustrous mint-state example! PCGS graded MS63, ex Hakim Hamidi Collection." The second specimen was lot 3593 in same sale, where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "AFGHANISTAN: Amanullah, 1919-1929, AR rupee, AH1337, a lovely lustrous mint-state example! This type was struck SH 1298-1299. Varieties exist, of which we show two here.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 9.0 g, 0.900 fine silver, 25 mm diameter.
