This specimen was lot 22364 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Mexico City. Centavo, 1903/2-M. NGC MS-65 BN. Unlisted over date. Attractive chocolate color through out." This type is available in brown uncirculated but may not exist with mint red.

Recorded mintage: 8,400,000.

Specification: copper, plain edge.
