This specimen was lot 2104 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €15,000 (about US$20,876 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SACHSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Friedrich August I. 1694-1733 (August der Starke). Dukat 1697 (Jahreszahl im Stempel aus 1696 geändert), Dresden. Brustbild r. in Kurornat, in der Rechten Schwert, davor Kurhut auf einem Tisch//Gekrönter Löwe steht nach l. in der Rechten Pranke Schwert, die Linke auf den kursächsischen Wappenschild gelegt, unten in der Umschrift die Signatur I - (gekreuzte Pfeile) - K (Johann Koch, Münzmeister in Dresden 1688-1698). GOLD. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich. Erworben 1934 bei der Firma Julius Jenke, Berlin. (Germany, electorate of Saxony, Frederick Augustus I (Augustus the Strong), ducat of 1697 (date shown as 1697/6), Dresden mint. Obverse: half-length bust of the elector brandishing a sword, electoral cap on table; reverse: cronw lion left with sword and shield. Very scarce in this quality, extremely fine. Bought from Julius Jenke, Berlin, in 1934.)"
