Saxony 1697-IK ducat Fr-2830
This specimen was lot 1067 in Sincona sale 50 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 1,800 CHF (about US$2,171 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Sachsen, ab 1547 Kurfürstentum. Albertiner. Friedrich August I. 1694-1733. Dukat 1697, Dresden. Auf seine Krönung zum König von Polen in Krakau. Leicht gewellt. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Saxony, Frederick August I, 1694-1733, ducat of 1697, Dresden mint. On his coronation as king of Poland in Krakow. slightly wavy flan, Very fine-extremely fine.)"
