This specimen was lot 33436 in Heritage sale 3114 (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $2,880. The lot description[1] noted, "Cuba. Republic gold Proof "Towards a New Millennium" 100 Pesos (1 oz) 2000 PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC, Havana mint. A beautiful Reverse Proof design to usher in the New Millennium, represented by the single-highest example at NGC." Desperate for foreign exchange, Cuba has issued large numbers of NCLT's, many only vaguely related to Cuba.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine gold, 38 mm diameter, 1.000 troy oz AGW.

Catalog reference: Fr-unlisted, KM 711.
