This specimen was lot 33440 in Heritage sale 3114 (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $3,360. The lot description[1] noted, "Cuba. Republic gold Proof "Solar System - Welcome to the New Millennium" 100 Pesos (1 oz) 2000 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, Havana mint. One of this cataloger's favorite designs to commemorate the third millennium, represented in full splendor by one of NGC's top pops." Desperate for foreign exchange, Cuba has issued large numbers of NCLT's, many only vaguely related to Cuba.

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine gold, 38 mm diameter, 1.000 troy oz AGW.
