Shown is an 1877-Go S five centavos, of a type struck 1869-97. This issue from Guanajuato is a fairly common date. Other mints include Alamos, Culiacan, Durango, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Hermosillo, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Oaxaca and Potosi.

Specification: 1.35 g, 0.903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.
