Sincona sale 46, lot 50

This specimen was lot 50 in Sincona sale 46 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,800 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"100 Yuan 1996. Panda. Kleines Datum. Polierte Platte. FDC. (China, one hundred yuan of 1996, panda, small date. Choice Proof.)"
