The first specimen was lot 1135 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €650 (about US$876 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REGENSBURG, STADT, 15 Kreuzer (1/8 Reichstaler) o. J. mit Titel von Franz I. Slg. Bach (Auktion Künker 238) 4829. Von großer Seltenheit. Sehr attraktives Exemplar mit herrlicher Patina, vorzüglich. (Germany, city of Regensburg, undated fifteen kreuzer (1/8 thaler), struck in the name of Francis I. Very rare, very attractive example with beautiful patina, extremely fine.)"
The second specimen was lot 3226 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabruck, March 2024), where it sold for €1,700 (about US$2,231 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,
