This specimen was lot 1173 in Jean Elsen sale 162 (Brussels, June 2025), where it sold for €150 (about US$208 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NEDERLAND, UTRECHT, Provincie, AR scheepjesschelling (6 stuiver), 1764. Vz/ Gekroond provinciewapen. Kz/ Driemaster zeilend n. r. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, ship shilling or six stuivers of 1764. Obverse: crowned provincial arms; reverse: three masted ship sails right. Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"
This type was struck for circulation 1742, 1747, 1750, 1754-58 and 1764. Numerous other dates exist, struck in gold for presentation.
