This specimen was lot 2148 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $456. The catalog description[1] noted, "Denezhka 1853 EM. Authenticated and graded by NGC MS 62 BN (# 4501409-055). Choice uncirculated." This denezhka or half kopek was issued 1850-55 from Ekaterinburg (EM, shown here) and Warsaw (BM). The denomination was reduced to 1.6 g in 1894.
