This specimen was lot 2180 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "Denezhka 1855 BM. Warsaw. Authenticated and graded by NGC AU 55 BN (# 4501434-014). Coffee-brown, pale iridescent hues. About uncirculated." This denezhka or half kopek was issued 1850-55 from Ekaterinburg (EM) and Warsaw (BM, shown here). The denomination was reduced to 1.6 g in 1894.

Recorded mintage: 6,380,000 (including Y2.2 for Alexander II).

Specification: 2.56 g, copper, 17.9 mm diameter.
