This specimen was lot 2181 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "Denezhka 1856 EM. Authenticated and graded by NGC MS 63 BN. Silvery brown Choice brilliant uncirculated." This denga or half kopek was issued 1855-59 from Ekaterinburg (EM, shown here) and Warsaw (BM). The denomination was reduced to 1.6 g in 1894.

Recorded mintage: 6,000,000.

Specification: 2.56 g, copper, 17.9 mm diameter.
