This specimen was lot 2147 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "3 Kopecks 1852 BM. Warsaw. Authenticated and graded by NGC AU Details, cleaned (# 4501409-037). Milk chocolate brown. About uncirculated." This type was struck 1850-55 at Ekaterinburg (mintmark EM, much more common) and also Warsaw (shown here) 1850-59.

Recorded mintage: 100,000.

Specification: 15.36 g, copper, 32 mm diameter.
