This specimen was lot 2378 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"Regensburg, City, Taler 1645. Titel Ferdinand III. Vorzüglich-gutes vorzüglich. Schrötlingsfehler, hübsche Patina. (Germany, city of Regensburg, thaler of 1645, in the name of Ferdinand III. Extremely fine-good extremely fine, Planchet fault, nice patina.)"

While many eighteenth century thalers of Regensburg are common, most of the seventeenth century issues, including this one, are rare.
