This specimen was lot 3108 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,900 (about US$2,493 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS FERDINAND III. Dukat 1644 (Jahreszahl im Stempel aus 1643 geändert), mit Titel Ferdinands III. Münzmeister Siegmund Federer. GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Min. gewellt, Kratzer, kl. Randfehler, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (city of Regensburg, ducat of 1644, struck in the name of Ferdinand III, 1644/3 overdate. Very rare, slightly wavy, scratched, small edge defects, very fine to extremely fine.)"
