This specimen was lot 3132 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,115 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DIE REICHSSTADT REGENSBURG. DIE ZEIT DES KAISERS FERDINAND III. 1/4 Reichstaler 1644, mit Titel Ferdinands III. Münzmeister Hans Siegmund Federer. Von großer Seltenheit. Sehr schön. (city of Regensburg, quarter thaler of 1644, struck in the name of Ferdinand III. Extremely rare, very fine.)"
This scarce type was struck 1644, 1646 and 1647.
