Künker sale 336, lot 6600

This specimen was lot 6600 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,094 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"REGENSBURG, STADT, 1/4 Dukat o. J. (1711-1740). GOLD. R Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, city of Regensburg, undated quarter ducat. Scarce, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

This type was accompanied by 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/6 and half ducat.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 0.88 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 0.86 g.
