Regensburg (1711-40)-CDO 2 thaler Dav-2613a
This specimen was lot 3196 in Künker sale 405 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €17,000 (about US$22,306 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

MON · REIP . - RATISBON · Stadtansicht von Regensburg, darüber strahlendes Dreieck, im Abschnitt Stadtschlüssel in Kartusche und beiderseits Münzmeisterzeichen Flügel (Johann Michael Federer, Münzmeister in Regensburg 1700-1740)//CAROLVS VI · D · - G · ROM · IMP · SEMP · AVG · Geharnischtes Brustbild Karls VI. r. mit Lorbeerkranz und umgelegtem Mantel, am Armabschnitt die Stempelschneidersignatur C D Ö (Christoph Daniel Oexlein, Stempelschneider in Regensburg 1714-1779). In US-Plastikholder der NGC mit der Bewertung AU 58 (6643529-007). Von großer Seltenheit, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Hübsche Patina, winz. Randfehler und Kratzer, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. Graded NGC AU-58, extremely rare, especially in this quality, handsome patina, minor edge defects and scratches, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
