This specimen was lot 1078 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 20,000 CHF (about US$26,428 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Regensburg, Stadt, 2 Dukaten o. J. (1711-1740), Regensburg. Mit dem Titel von Karl VI. Münzmeister Johann Michael Federer. Stempelschneider Christoph Daniel Oexlein. Von grösster Seltenheit. NGC MS61. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Germany, city of Regensburg, undated double ducat, struck in the name of Charles VI, Regensburg mint. Of the highest rarity, Magnificent condition.)"
According to the SCWC, this was struck sometime after 1722. A similar half ducat (Fr-2502a), single ducat (Fr-2500) and triple ducat (Fr-2498) exists.
