This specimen was part of lot 73192 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), which sold for $1,342. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Group of 2 Reales (15 Pieces), 1826-41. Zacatecas Mint. Grade Range: VERY GOOD to VERY FINE. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. From the Kirk Menczer Collection of Republican Reales Minors." Shown is an 1838-Z^S OM two reales, one of a type struck at the Zacatecas mint for Mexico 1825-70. It is listed as a better date compared to the 1839-Z^S. Assayer OM (Manuel Ochoa and Manuel Miner) is recorded for 1831-55.
