Shown is an 1815MoJJ half real, one of a type struck in Mexico City 1815-21. The "standard bust" shown of Ferdinand VII superseded the "imaginary bust" used 1808-14. Assayer JJ is recorded for the years 1812-21.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 1.69 g, 0.896 fine silver, .048 troy oz ASW.
