Sincona sale 85, lot 1212

This specimen was lot 1212 in Sincona sale 85 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 475 CHF (about US$640 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN, Sultan Ahmad Shah, 1327-1344 AH (1909-1925). 1/2 Toman 1331 AH (1912/1913 AD), Tehran Mint. NGC MS62. Bust type. From the Kian collection, auction SINCONA 49, October 2018, lot 226."

This denomination was also struck in silver (KM 1058).

Specification: 1.43 g, 0.900 fine gold, this specimen is 1.44 g.
