This specimen was lot 3054 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $510. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY: Third Reich, 50 reichspfennig, 1937-A, a fantastic proof quality example! PCGS graded Proof 66 CAM, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This is a common date of a type struck 1927-38. Of the Weimar designs, this one lasted the longest into the Nazi period.
