This specimen was lot 3052 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY: Third Reich, 5 reichspfennig, 1936-A, a fantastic proof quality example! PCGS graded Proof 66, ex Joe Sedillot Collection." This type, originated during the Weimar Republic, was struck 1924-26, 1930, 1935-36. This type was superseded in 1936 by an explicitly Nazi design (KM 91) used 1936-39.
