This specimen was lot 30616 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Edward VI (1547-1553) Shilling ND, AU53 NGC. A nicer than usual portrait on the obverse, with surprisingly expressive eyes. The toning is deep gray, with some subtle rainbow hues around the legend. Ex: 'Colonel' E.H.R. Green; Green Estate' Partnership of Eric P Newman/B.G. Johnson."
