This specimen was lot 75368 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2025), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, 1549. London Mint; mm: Arrow. Edward VI. PCGS F-15. From the Richard August Collection." This type was struck 1549-50 at London, Southwark, Bristol, Canterbury and Durham. The reverse legend, "TIMOR DOMINI FONS VITÆ", translates as, "The fear of the Lord is the fountain of life", Proverbs 14:27.
