This specimen was lot 7183 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $1,920. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Groat, ND (1547-49). London Mint; mm: arrow. Edward VI. PCGS Genuine--Excessively Clipped, VF Details. First period. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust right; Reverse: Coat-of-arms over long cross fleuree. Quite clipped and well worn, but still a nice type filler for the collector on a budget looking for this hard-to-find hammered issue. From the Runze Collection."
