This specimen was lot 73266 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 6 Mariengroschen, 1754-IBH. Zellerfeld Mint. Karl I. PCGS AU-55. Nearly Mint State and possessing much intricate detail no matter its smaller format, this wholesome minor stands as an above average example of the emission. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This denomination was one-sixth of a thaler or one quarter gulden. This type was struck 1735-80 and is common. Mintmaster IBH appears 1739-62.
