Künker sale 386, lot 5075

This specimen was lot 5075 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €650 (about US$840 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, Karl I. 1735-1780. 1/4 Reichstaler 1750, Zellerfeld. RR Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 228, Osnabrück 2013, Nr. 4363. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Charles I, 1735-80, quarter thaler of 1750, Zellerfeld mint. Very rare, hadsome patina, extremely fine.)"

This type was 1736, 1738, 1742, 1748 and 1750 and is the last issue of this denomination from this state.
