This specimen was lot 41313 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 2 Mariengroschen, 1744-IBH. Zellerfeld Mint. Karl I. PCGS MS-63. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." This type was struck 1735-63, 1766, 1770-80 and has a low catalog value. The two mariengroschen was the smallest denomination struck in good silver.
