Künker sale 406, lot 3883

This specimen was lot 3883 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,115 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"KAISERREICH ÖSTERREICH, Ferdinand I. 1835-1848. Dukat 1848, B, Kremnitz. 3,44 g Feingold. GOLD. Vorzüglich. (empire of Austria, Ferdinand I, 1835-48, ducat of 1848, Kremnitz mint. Extremely fine.)"

This ducat was struck for Ferdinand 1837-48 at four mints, including Kremnitz (shown here). Altho produced in Hungary, this type is listed with Austria as the standard Austrian design was used. Ferdinand abdicated in 1848.
