Künker Auction 441, lot 4877

This specimen was lot 4877 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,651 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Joseph II., 1765-1790. Konv.-Taler 1775 F/VC-S, Hall. Hübsche Patina, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Holy Roman Empire, Joseph II, 1765-90, convention thaler of 1775, Hall mint. Handsome patina, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1765-77 at Vienna (mintmark "A"), Prague (mintmark "C"), Hall (mintmark "F", shown here) and Günzburg in the Burgau (mintmark "H").
