Sincona sale 66, lot 1845

This specimen was lot 1845 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$263 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HEILIGES ROMISCH REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Taler 1774, Hall. Sehr schön. (Austria, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, thaler of 1774, Hall mint. Very fine.)"

This type was struck 1772-76 at the Hall mint and is common.

Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver, this specimen 27.94 g.
