Sincona sale 63, lot 1606

This specimen was lot 1606 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$439 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Franz I. 1745-1765. Taler 1761, Prag. Sehr schön. Leicht korrodiert. (Holy Roman Empire, Francis I, 1745-65, thaler of 1761, Prague mint. Very fine, Slightly corroded.)"

This thaler was struck at the Prague mint 1751-65. Similar thalers were also struck at Kremnitz (KB), Hall (HA), Vienna (WI) and Karlsburg (CA).
