This specimen was lot 35240 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2022), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. 3 Kreuzer, ND (1626-32). Hall Mint. Ferdinand II. NGC MS-64. The finest certified example by NGC." The three kreuzer was probably the most extensively minted small coin in the Hapsburg monarchy in the seventeenth century. This undated type was issued by the archduke Leopold, who never obtained the imperial title.
