Sincona sale 13, lot 2690

This specimen was lot 2690 in Sincona sale 13 (Zürich, October 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR/ÖSTERREICH, Erzherzog Leopold V. 1619-1632, Doppeltaler o. J. Hall Vorzüglich (Austria, archduke Leopold V, 1619-32, double thaler without date, Hall mint. Extremely fine.)."

While most Austrian multiple thalers are rare, this one, issued for the wedding of the duke, is only scarce.

Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
