Sincona sale 76, lot 1409

This specimen was lot 1409 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 4,750 CHF (about US$5,766 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Erzherzog Leopold V. 1619-1632. 2 Taler o. J. (1635), Hall. Posthume Prägung. Vorzüglich-FDC. NGC MS63. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Holy Roman Empire, archduke Leopold V, 1619-32, undated double thaler, Hall mint, posthumous strike. Extremely fine-uncirculated, Magnificent condition.)"

This undated type is attributed to 1625 in the SCWC. It is expensive.
