This specimen was lot 4453 in Goldberg sale 65 (Los Angeles, September 2011), where it sold for $575. The catalog description[1] noted, "Mexico. ½ Escudo, 1825-Ga FS. Hand on book. This is a Rare date according to the Richard Long book. NGC graded AU-55."
