This specimen was lot 33474 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic 8 Reales 1825 Mo-JM MS62 NGC, Mexico City mint. Medal Axis. With crisp devices, a bit of softness in the center of the eagle, and a glossy luster. A highly agreeable Mint State example of a popular early year issue." While most issues of this mint are common, this early date is scarce.
