This specimen was lot 6377 in Ponterio sale 155 (Baltimore, November 2010), where it sold for $2,300. The catalog description[1] noted, "MEXICO. Mexico City. 8 Reales, 1824-JM. VERY SCARCE. First year of the upright eagle and possibly the finest known. Sharply struck BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED." The SCWC notes this date as rare but the hook-neck even rarer.
