Shown is an 1881Ga S five centavos, of a type struck 1877, 1881, 1886-93. This issue from Guadalajara is a slightly scarce date. Other mints include Hermosillo, Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, Alamos, Guanajuato, Mexico City, Culiacan, Oaxaca and Potosi. No silver five centavos were struck 1882-85.

Specification: 1.35 g, .903 fine silver, .039 troy oz ASW.

Recorded Mintage: 156,000.
