This specimen was lot 674 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €240 (about US$324 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, HERZOGTUM Georg I. Ludwig, 1698-1714. 1/3 Taler 1714, Clausthal. Prägung ohne den Titel "König von Großbritannien". RR Hübsche Patina, sehr schön. (Germany, electorate of Brunswick-Luneburg, George Louis, 1698-1714, one-third thaler of 1714, Clausthal mint, struck without the title 'King of Great Britain.' Rare, handsome patina, very fine.)"
This one-third thaler or half gulden was struck 1712-15. It is listed in the SCWC as common.
