Künker sale 335, lot 4655

This specimen was lot 4655 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €340 (about US$445 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH. Ferdinand II. 1592-1618-1637. Reichstaler 1624, Wien. Etwas Belag, sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, 1624 thaler of 1624, Vienna mint. Bent, very fine.)"

This thaler is fairly common. Other Austrian single thalers for 1624 include Dav-3104, -3106, -3123, -3144, -3146, -3146A, -3104A, -3330A, -3078, -3080, -3081, -3083, -3085, -3086, -3087, -3087A, -3092 and -3330.
